Dekker dealing with hand injury

Posted: Updated:
Madison, WI (WKOW)  The Badgers only have one game this week.
    That is Saturday at Iowa.
So, Wisconsin with a full week to rest some aching bodies, including Sam Dekker, who cut his hand on the rim Saturday at Michigan.

Badgers head coach Bo Ryan was asked if Dekker would practice Monday.
Instead of saying, 'I don't know,' Ryan gave a Ryan-like answer involving references to stick-um and deflate gate.

"Somebody said the announcer said that they glued his hand. Is that like under inflated balls, they're easier to catch like if you had stick-um or glue. Remember the days of stick-um for the older people in the room. It helped you to grip the basketball and you could dunk a lot easier. Maybe we'll have to find some of that glue," Ryan said.

The Badgers moved up to #5 in the latest Associated Press College Hoops Poll.

Kentucky is still number one.
