Badgers eager to face Hoosiers

Posted: Updated:

Madison, WI (WKOW) We are about halfway through the Big Ten's regular season and the Badgers have a two-game lead in the loss column.

Five teams are tied for second.

One of those squads is rolling into Madison Tuesday.

Wisconsin will host Indiana at 6 PM.

The Hoosiers struggling a bit, having dropped two of their last three.

Tom Crean rebuilt this young squad around talented guard Yogi Ferrell.

The Hoosiers have some "diaper dandies" including freshman James Blackmon.

"They're going to come out with a ton of energy, a ton of confidence after what they did to us last year at their place. Their ability to get to the rim. They're better this year. They're really talented, athletic and quick," said senior Josh Gasser.

"They're really searching for another win. They're really quick, fast offensively. They lead the conference in scoring," said guard Bronson Koenig.

"A guy like Blackmon, he's a pro. So, when you have those kind of players, when you're playing against them, you have to figure out some kind of way to contain them," said head coach Bo Ryan.

The Badgers remain at number five in the latest Associated Press Top 25 College Poll. Just three Big Ten schools are ranked in the top 25.

Kentucky is still number one.
