COPY-UPDATE: Delevan man claims $1 Million Powerball ticket
While many are still checking their tickets from last night's Powerball drawing, a Delavan man claimed his $1 million prize from the January 17th drawing.
Glenn Lyon of Delavan purchased his ticket at Uncle Bucks in Delavan and matched all 5 regular numbers. Only missing the Powerball number. ----------------------------------- MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Nobody in Wisconsin matched all the winning numbers to win the big Powerball jackpot worth $564 million.
But $1 million isn't a bad consolation prize.
The Wisconsin Lottery says someone who bought a ticket at Durand Avenue Mart in Racine matched five numbers, but not the Powerball to win $1 million in Wednesday night's drawing.
Tickets in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas matched all the winning numbers and will split the huge jackpot. Wednesday's jackpot was the third-largest in Powerball history.
