NECEDAH (WKOW) -- Shortly before 1:00 Thursday morning, the Juneau County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a man was possibly deceased inside a Sheridan Street apartment.
The criminal complaint reveals 21-year-old Natalie Murphy met a deputy at the door and began screaming "he's dead, he's dead". When the deputy asked who she was referring to, Murphy pointed to a back bedroom in the apartment.
The deputy entered the bedroom and found 24-year-old Andrew Dammen, of Mauston, in a seated position on the floor, deceased. The deputy immediately asked Murphy what had happened. She replied, "I killed him...I (expletive) killed him...with that (expletive) gun right there." The deputy looked away from Murphy to see the handle of a Glock pistol inside a dresser drawer.
Around 1:50 a.m., a lieutenant with the Juneau County Sheriff's Office arrived on scene and heard Murphy repeat she had "shot him...because he told me to shoot him."
Murphy was taken into custody and is charged with first degree intentional homicide. She will appear in court in March.
