DRESBACH, Minn. (KTTC) -- Drivers can expect some slowdowns along I-90 from LaCrosse, WI to Dresbach, MN this afternoon.
The right lane of I-90 westbound will be closed for about 6 miles as workers install concrete girders as part of the new Dresbach Bridge. Exit 276 Hwy 61 South will be closed, and motorists are being advised by MnDOT to continue on I-90 and take Dresbach exit 273 B & A to I-90 East.
The easterly segment of the Mississippi River pedestrian and bike trail will be closed until 2016. Additionally, there will be a 12 foot width and 80,000 pound weight requirement for trucks. Travel time is expected to take 10 minutes longer than usual.
People can find more details about the project on MnDOT's website.
