GREEN BAY (WXOW) – Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Letroy Guion has reached a deal that would defer his prosecution and would keep him out of jail, according to ESPN.
The deal is expected to be signed in the next couple of weeks, a source tells ESPN.
Guion could still face discipline from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Guion was arrested in February in Starke, Florida. Marijuana, an unloaded gun and more than $190,000 was found in the car, according to police.
The defensive tackle was signed last offseason to a one-year, $1 million contract.
Last month, Packers leaders said they were monitoring the situation.
