The Badgers needs all hands on deck the next few weeks, which is why it was a bit concerning to see Sam Dekker on the sidelines yesterday at practice.
Afterwards, Sam Dekker simply said he was resting and didn't elaborate.
The starters could use a little rest right now.
The bench has been non-existent forcing Bo Ryan to stick with his starters for the majority of these games.
Frank Kaminsky, Nigel Hayes and Josh Gasser are all averaging more than 31 minutes a game. Dekker is averaging nearly 30.
"We're young, we're in shape. Personally, I like playing games closer. That's what you're here for playing games that's the most fun part of it, so I'm all for that," Dekker said.
"Everyone's playing a lot of minutes. Everyone's banged up have bruises here and there. That's just the way it goes, we're only guaranteed four games left so if you cant suck it up through that we don't want you to play," Gasser said.
The Badgers are at Minnesota Thursday.
That's a 6 PM tip-off.
