The Warriors trailed in the second half at 42-40, but responded with another run to take the lead for good, highlighted by a Burg two-handed slam dunk.
"Justin Burg, Gavin, Kyle, across the board, they ate glass tonight," head coach Josh Diersen said afterward. "They just flew to the boards, we had an advantage there, and it was fun to watch guys rebound like that because they let us play."
Senior Kyle Sorenson added 12 points, one of four Caledonia starters to finish the night in double-figures. He said Burg was the "sparkplug" after slamming home the dunk to make it 53-45 Warriors.
"Lit the fire under our butts, it got us momentum," Sorenson said. "It's just a crazy momentum switch."
Colton Lampert scored 13 points and freshman Owen King added 10 points for Caledonia, who will face Maple River Friday night at the Target Center in the semifinals.
