Noah Carlson scored 16 points to lead Rushford-Peterson past Central Minnesota Christian 62-39 Friday afternoon in the Class A semifinals, sending the Trojans to the state title game.

The Trojans never trailed, building a 17-4 lead early on thanks to stingy defense and 10 first half points from junior Matt Culhane. He finished with 11 points on the day.

Charlie Krambeer scored 11 points a day after scoring a team-high 33 points against Fond du Lac Ojibwe in the quarterfinals. He also led the team with nine rebounds.

Kyler Paulson scored 13 points to round out four players in double figures.

The Trojans didn't shoot particularly well in the first half, just 29 percent from the field, but shot 63 percent from the field in the second half to put the game away.

Rushford-Peterson will play Maranatha Christian Academy Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Target Center for the state title.
