Whitefish Bay Dominican wins WIAA Division 4 boys title

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Diamond Stone scored 23 points to lead Whitefish Bay Dominican to a 75-49 victory over Mineral Point on Saturday and a fourth consecutive WIAA Division 4 boys state basketball title.
The Green Knights (24-3) became only the second program in state basketball history to win four straight titles. Randolph also won four straight in Division 4 from 2002-05.
Dominican pulled away with a 7-0 run over nearly the first three minutes of the second half. The lead ballooned to 16 on Austin Moutry's 3-pointer from the left baseline with 1:26 to go in the third quarter.
Jake Bennett added 13 points for Dominican, which never trailed.
Sy Staver scored 14 points and Turner Poad added 10 for the Pointers (28-1) in their first state tournament appearance since 2010.
