CLOQUET, Minn. (WXOW) - The Coulee Region Chill won just one game all regular season against the Minnesota Wilderness. Now in two nights, they have as many wins.

Adam Carlson stopped 35 shots and Kevin Shand scored the go-ahead goal in the third period Saturday as the Chill beat the Wilderness 3-1 at Northwoods Credit Union Arena in game two of this best-of-5 series in the opening round of the NAHL Playoffs. The Chill can sweep the series Friday night with a win at Green Island Ice Arena.

The Chill were just 1-7 against their Midwest Division rivals during the regular season, but won their final game in Cloquet and said they found a weakness in the Wilderness defense. It's shown in the playoffs, as the Chill have won 4-2 and 3-1 in the first two games.
