The schedule for the 2015 NFL season was released Tuesday, but there is a lot of work to be done between now and the regular season come September.
Offseason workouts began this week for the Green Bay Packers. We will see strength and conditioning, on-field workouts, minicamp and finally training camp.
This is the fifth offseason program for Randall Cobb, who elected to stay in Green Bay rather than go elsewhere in free agency. Cobb left some money on the table by returning, choosing to sign a four-year, $40 million deal with the Packers.
"I had pros and cons to leaving and staying and figuring out what was best for me," Cobb said. "I wrote them all out on a sheet and I just decided off of that and I knew this is where I wanted to be. I know what I have in Aaron (Rodgers). I know what I have in the receiving core. I feel like we're right there and we're ready to start our journey today to build on this season and bring a Super Bowl back this upcoming year."
Cobb is coming off a career-best season of 91 catches for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns.
