Inspire Sports holds Volleyball clinic for kids with disabilities
UW-La Crosse volleyball players are teaming up with a local non-profit to teach kids with disabilities about their sport.
Inspire Sports works with local sports teams to create opportunities for children with cognitive, physical and emotional disabilities.
The student athletes partner with a child with disabilities to help build relationships and have fun.
On Sunday the kids practiced their volleyball skills.
"Hopefully kids take away building great social relationships with our UW-L students. We have a great bunch of students here and it's just really great to build those social connection in the community," Laura Neubert, with Inspire Sports said.
This is the second volleyball clinic Inspire Sports has put on.
Neubert said it a great was for kids to interact with college students while having some fun.
