The UW-La Crosse football team is looking ahead to the fall.
They're wrapping up spring practice this week on campus.
The Eagles are coming off a 3-7 season in 2014.
This will be Joel Dettwiler's 5th season as head coach.
They're still looking for that breakout season and the coach see's some promising signs this spring.
"I think we have some young receivers that are doing a good job for us. We have a lot of guys that don't have a lot of name recognition right now but they're pretty good athletes. There's a couple of guys that were on the roster and a couple that weren't and they're moving from running back to receiver and doing a combination of both. We did lose a lot of good players but that's the fun part about spring is building that chemistry with that new group and having them be out here and jell as a team," Dettwiler said.
The Eagles will play just 4 home games in 2015 starting with the season opener against Luther College.
