UPDATE: Rain has postponed the start of the WIAA State Softball Tournament in Madison.

The Logan Rangers, who were supposed to play Thursday night against New London, have had their Division 2 game moved to Friday at approximately 5:15 p.m.

The winner of the Logan/New London game faces the winner of the Turner/Waupun game, which comes before the Logan game.

Revised WIAA State Softball Tournament Schedule

------------------------------------------

Logan softball will take center stage Thursday night at the WIAA State Softball Tournament in Madison.

They'll take on New London in a division two semifinal, set for 8 PM.

The Rangers got there by holding their opponents to just two measly runs in their 4 playoff games.

New London will have the edge in state tournament experience though.

The Bulldogs will be making their 3rd straight trip to state.

But Logan has been pointing towards this season and it's potential for quite some time.

"I think just growing as a team and getting closer because we look at this team and ever since 10 and under it's been this group of girls. You play for this moment, to go to State. The fact that I look around and it's the same group of girls going through this journey. It's an awesome feeling," said catcher Kadie Weiss.

"It's so hard to believe that it's reality, I think. It's something we expected of ourselves, but now it's real, I guess," said pitcher Jordyn Klemen.

Logan finished the season ranked number one in the state.

New London was 7th.
