LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) Eight area players earned post-season all-state honors from the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Monday.
They are led by Logan's Jordyn Kleman, who earned 1st team all-state and was named the Division 2 Player of the Year.
Kleman went 20-1 as a pitcher for the Rangers and hit 7 home runs this season while leading Logan to it's first-ever WIAA state title in division two.
Earning 2nd team all-state were Kleman's battery mate Kadie Weiss and Luther pitcher Sara Beckendorf.
Five area players picked up all-state honorable mention honors.
They are: catcher Alayna Tulip of Arcadia, infielder Megan Horstman of Bangor, infielder Nicole Beckendorf of Luther, outfielder Abby Leinfelder of Logan and outfielder Chandler Halverson of Arcadia.
