La Crosse Central high school basketball standout Kobe King has reportedly received an offer from the University of Wisconsin.
Multiple sources on Friday said King, a 6-foot-3-inch guard, received the offer. King now has offers from Iowa State, Marquette, Green Bay, Drake, Portland, Northern Iowa, Valparaiso and Indiana University-Purdue University in addition to the Badgers.
King, who will be a junior at Central this season, averaged 15.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a sophomore. He received honorable mention to the Associated Press All-State team.
Should King choose the Badgers, he would join Aquinas grad Bronson Koenig on the court in Madison.
