CHICAGO, Ill. (WKOW) Big Ten Media Day is always a time for coaches and players to give a positive vibe about their teams.
Such was the case Thursday in Chicago.
Wisconsin's new head coach Paul Chryst made his debut representing the Badgers at this annual event.
He was joined by Corey Clement, Joel Stave and Michael Caputo.
Defending national champion Ohio State is the overwhelming favorite to win the Big Ten.
But the Badgers were picked by the media to defend their West Division title.
"I'm excited, the guys are excited. I think we truly are looking forward to getting going. Part of that is because they like being around each other. We have some work to do so there's kind of an anxiety on let's get going on that and also we think we can do something special," Chryst said.
Wisconsin opens the season September 5 against Alabama in Texas.
