Calls to boycott Missouri restaurant where Scott Walker stopped to eat
A conservative web site reports a Missouri business owner has been dealing with calls for a boycott of his restaurant after Wisconsin governor and presidential candidate Scott Walker ate there.
Sugarfire Smoke House is a barbecue restaurant with multiple locations in the St. Louis area.
Bizpac Review reports the restaurant's owner, Mike Johnson, told KTRS radio in St. Louis he had to track down the people calling for the boycott and go on the radio to announce he’s apolitical. He claims he didn’t even know who Scott Walker was until he started feeling the blowback, and he adds he would welcome pretty much anyone into his business.
Walker reportedly stopped by Sunday to grab a bite and shake a few hands.
