La Crosse County has a new circuit court Judge.
Gloria Doyle was sworn in Monday in front of a packed courtroom of family and friends. Judge Dale Pasell gave the Administration of the Oath. Doyle will take over the Circuit Court Branch 5 seat formerly held by Pasell.
Doyle has 18 years of private practice experience and nine years as Family Court Commissioner. She says she plans to handle her new job as Judge the same way she did as Court Commissioner, following the law and giving everyone their fair say.
"They'll find a Judge who is compassionate, concerned about their circumstances, concerned that we outcomes in this court that promote public safety. Those I think are the most relevant things that people will see when they come into my courtroom," says Doyle.
Doyle will see the first case of her six year term on Friday.
