Caputo going through concussion tests for No. 20 Wisconsin
Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst says that safety Michael Caputo is going through the concussion protocol after getting knocked out early of Saturday night's loss to Alabama.
The 20th-ranked Badgers aren't sure if Caputo will be available for this weekend's home opener against Miami (Ohio), though Chryst said Monday that the senior leader should be ready to play whenever he's cleared.
Caputo was hurt on the third play of the 35-17 loss to the Crimson Tide. Caputo was so woozy that he initially lined up on the Alabama side of the field for the next play before trainers came out to get him.
Running back Corey Clement was limited in the Alabama game with a sore groin. Chryst said he doesn't think it will be a lingering injury.
