A wedding expo held at Holmen High School brought together 40 different vendors for brides, grooms, and family members to check out.
Rebecca Edwards, Co-Owner and CEO of A2Z Social Design in Holmen, organized the expo for the second year in a row. She said
"Being able to take selfies from the photo booths and have hashtags from their weddings, that's a huge thing that's going on right now. The social media involvement and live tweeting, live Facebooking, Instagramming directly from the wedding and during the event, as well as during the reception. And being able to easily find the wedding hashtag for the wedding you attended," said Edwards.
Edwards added that creating a hashtag for a wedding groups pictures taken by guests into one central spot.
Vendors at the Holmen Wedding Expo included: DJ's and entertainment, caterers, hair and make-up, jewelry, a photo booth business, and of course bakeries.
Edwards also said that Friday weddings are becoming more popular since they are much less expensive than typical Saturday weddings.
