Dan Fredrickson took the lead away from Ty Majeski on a restart with 10 laps to go Sunday and never looked back, winning the ARCA Midwest Tour Oktoberfest 200 at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway.
Fredrickson earned his fourth career win in the event, highlighting the final day of the 46th annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend.
"Oh man, it's awesome. Course I come here as a kid watching these guys and thinking they were so awesome," Fredrickson said afterward. "Some of them are still racing some of the guys I looked up to have quit now and moved on. It's been just unbelievable."
Majeski fell to third after a vapor lock caused his car to lose power coming to the restart, but still claimed the series championship for a second year in a row. Jacob Goede finished second.
Austin Nason earned 2015 ARCA Midwest Tour Rookie of the Year honors.
Earlier in the day, the 20-year-old Majeski won the JMcK 63, a special three-segment race for the Big 8 Series, bringing his weekend victory total to three.
