La Crosse, WI (WXOW) -

Trey Davis threw for four touchdowns, but the Logan Rangers committed six turnovers Friday night in a 45-34 playoff loss to Reedsburg.

Logan (8-3) was eliminated for the second straight season at Swanson Field. Reedsburg will face Mount Horeb/Barneveld on Friday, November 6 in Level 3.

The Beavers opened the scoring on the game's first play of scrimmage as running back Chris Jepson took his first carry of the night 68 yards to the end zone, making it 7-0. Jepson finished the night with 254 rushing yards on 19 carries.

Logan answered later in the quarter when Trey Davis found Nathan Baker in the corner of the end zone to tie the game 7-7.

On the next Reedsburg drive, Beavers quarterback Jack Yager was hit and fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Logan's Manny Buckhanan at the Beavers' 22 yard line.

On the very next play, Davis threw a backwards pass to Baker, who then connected with Jack Hinton in the end zone for a 22-yard touchdown, giving Logan a 14-7 lead.

In the second quarter, Cal Mazur scored from seven yards out to tie the game at 14-14, then Jepson broke loose again on another Beavers possession to set up a Yager rushing touchdown and make it 21-14 Reedsburg.

The Rangers tied the game in the final minute of the half. Davis found Andy Metcalf in the south end zone for a touchdown to tie the score at 21-21 entering halftime.

Logan received the second half kickoff and marched down the field, scoring when Davis connected with Baker to make the score 28-21 Rangers.

Yager led the Beavers back down the field, and scored on another quarterback run to tie the game once more, 28-28 after three quarters.

Early in the fourth quarter, Reedsburg added a field goal to lead 31-28. Logan then committed back-to-back turnovers, the second one leading to a Zeffary Smith touchdown catch to up Reedsburg's lead to 38-28 with 6:33 remaining.

Davis led the Rangers to another touchdown drive, finding Baker in the corner of the end zone similar to the one they connected on to begin the game. Baker's extra point attempt was no good however, making the Rangers' deficit 38-34 with 3:29 left.

Reedsburg forced Logan to use its timeouts, then put the game away for good on a Jacob Erbs 30-yard touchdown run with 2:05 remaining.

Davis finished the night with 214 yards passing.
