Another local prep star finalizes college plans.
Jordyn Klemen signed a letter of intent to play softball at Winona State Thursday.
The Logan senior was the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association player of the year in Division 2 last spring.
She was 22-1 as a pitcher for the Rangers. She also hit .404 with 7 home runs while leading Logan to the state title.
"I chose it because I was going through the process of eliminating all the schools and choosing where I wanted to be, they just made me feel like home. The coaches have always been very approachable and made me feel like I belong there and I think developing a relationship with them made me decide that was the right place to be," Klemen said.
Klemen had an earned run average of 0.35 last spring.
