Onalaska High School swimmers Calvin Hulse and Kelsey Linzmeyer signed letters of intent Monday to compete at the collegiate level.
Hulse will swim at Cornell University, while Linzmeyer will swim for Air Force Academy.
"A lot of times you look at a school and it's either focused on athletics or it's focused on academics, but to find a school that really combines the two, and can really exceed at both, is something really special," said Hulse, who will study informational science.
Linzmeyer, who just finished 12th in the 100-meter butterfly at the WIAA state championships last weekend, said she had always wanted to enter the military.
"I went out there a couple years ago with my family and I saw the campus and it was just so beautiful and I thought, 'You know, it's like a great education and you're in the military.' It was what I wanted to do."
