Minnesota coach Tracy Claeys has fired offensive coordinator Matt Limegrover and quarterbacks coach Jim Zebrowski.
Claeys announced the decision Sunday, one day after the Golden Gophers lost to Wisconsin to finish 5-7 overall and 2-6 in the Big Ten.
Claeys took over as coach with five games remaining after Jerry Kill was forced to retire because of epilepsy.
Limegrover had worked with Kill and Claeys dating to 1999 when the staff was at Emporia State. Kill prided himself on the continuity of his staff and said it was key in helping to rebuild every program they entered, including Northern Illinois and Minnesota.
Limegrover also served as Minnesota's offensive line coach.
