Adrian Peterson raised some eyebrows after Minnesota's 38-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks when he said one of the reasons they lost was that they were "outcoached."
The Vikings running back says he doesn't regret making the comment. But he also points out he was equally critical of the players' performances in that game, including his own.
Peterson says he missed a couple of opportunities to break long runs. He says if he would have made the right read on two of them he could have taken them for touchdowns. Instead, he was bottled up and the Vikings fell behind 21-0 by halftime.
Peterson finished with eight carries for 18 yards.
The Vikings (8-4) play at Arizona (10-2) on Thursday night.
