Wisconsin tailback Corey Clement has apologized for his involvement in an off-campus scrum that led to a citation from police for disorderly conduct.
Clement hurt his hand in the altercation Nov. 8. He was cited by police about two weeks later.
Clement spoke to reporters Wednesday for the first time since the citation. He missed the regular-season finale against Minnesota as discipline.
The junior's season was also interrupted by sports hernia surgery in September. The Badgers are preparing for the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30 against Southern California.
Clement says he is still not 100 percent but has participated in contact drills the past three days and is eager to return to the field.
