Much like his team, it's been and up and down season for Bronson Koenig.
It seems as Koenig goes, so go the Badgers.
Sunday against Michigan State the La Crosse Aquinas graduate scored a career high 27 points.
It was Wisconsin's biggest win of the year.
Koenig came into the game struggling with his shot, but that certainly wasn't an issue against the Spartans. "I just told myself I'm not going to think about shooting or I'm not going to aim it or anything. I'm just going to let it fly and that's what I did. I didn't think about it and just did what I do best," Koenig said.
"He's maturing and growing in that role, he's got a lot on his plate in terms of he gets hounded every possession as well as Nigel (Hayes). When shots go in it makes it easier and that's a big confidence booster for him," said Badgers interim head coach Greg Gard.
The Badgers play at Penn State Thursday.
