The La Crosse Area Baseball Hall of Fame announced four inductees for 2016.
They are led by Robert "Kootch" Carroll, founder of the Stars of Tomorrow baseball tournaments and known locally as the "father" of youth baseball in the area.
Craig Kusick Sr. played baseball at UW-La Crosse and later in the majors, mostly with the Minnesota Twins.
Louise Erickson Sauer played for the All American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1948 to 1950.
She was born in Whitehall and currently lives in Arcadia.
George Williams is a La Crosse Central graduate and played parts of five seasons in the major leagues.
All four will have plaques displayed in their honor at Copeland Park.
