Dane Co: Deputies revive 1 man, another dies of apparent overdose
TOWN OF PLEASANT SPRINGS, Wis. (AP) - Dane County emergency responders who found two unconscious men in a minivan at an intersection revived one of them, but the other died of an apparent overdose.
The minivan was found with the ignition off at an intersection in the Town of Pleasant Springs Wednesday. Sheriff's deputies say drug paraphernalia was found in the van, so the opiate antidote Narcan was administered to both men.
The 21-year-old passenger was revived and taken to Meriter Hospital. Authorities say the 32-year-old driver from Cross Plains was dead on arrival at Meriter.
