UW-La Crosse men's basketball is coming off a heart-breaking loss to UW-Oshkosh Saturday, but the goal is still the same.
Just win one more.
The Eagles back to work Tuesday in preparation for their match-up the Blugolds in Eau Claire Wednesday night.
Even with the loss, the Eagles need to win one of their last two games to clinch a share of the conference title, which would be their first since 1965.
Despite the setback Saturday, the Eagles remain undeterred.
"The biggest thing is we got to stay focused on what we have to do. First thing first is get done with practice and then move on to them tomorrow. We just got to go day by day, that's basically our model the whole year. Just focus on one game at a time," said Austin Fritz.
"I think they bounced back Sunday, bounced back with a decent practice yesterday. I think our guys just have had the right mentality from one game to the next regardless of what happened in that particular game," said head coach Ken Koelbl.
After Wednesday's game at Eau Claire, the Eagles will close out the season Saturday at home against UW-Stevens Point.
