Coulee Region Chill head coach and general manager A.J. Degenhardt will resign after this season.
Degenhardt is taking a job with his previous employer, Team Illinois.
Degenhardt told WXOW 19 Sports that he will run their Midget program, which helps high school age players develop their skills for possible junior hockey or college teams.
The La Crosse native led the Chill to franchise record 31 wins in his first full season in 2013-14.
He's 85-72-10 all-time with the Chill and 26-21 this season.
After an outstanding prep career with the Central-Logan co-op, Degenhardt played in college at Wisconsin where he was a part of a national championship team.
