The Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team is dancing for a 18th straight season.
Wisconsin (20-12) received the #7 seed in the East Region of the NCAA Tournament and will face #10 Pittsburgh at 5:50 p.m. Friday in St. Louis. The Badgers have won eight of their last nine opening round games, including last season en route to advancing to the national championship game.
The Badgers' streak of 18 consecutive appearances is the fifth-longest streak in NCAA history.
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will open the tournament Friday at 6:20 p.m. in Oklahoma City vs Texas A&M. The Phoenix (23-12) received the #14 seed in the West Region.
Matt Thomas and the #4-seeded Iowa State Cyclones (21-11) will face #13 Iona at 1 p.m. on Thursday in Denver. This is the fifth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance for Iowa State.
