The Green Bay Packers reportedly met with former St. Louis Rams tight end Jared Cook on Monday, according to reports.
Cook was released by St. Louis last month. He is reportedly the first free agent to visit the Packers since the free agency period began last week.
ESPN and other news outlets report that the Packers inquired about Cook at the trade deadline last season, but couldn't make a deal.
Cook was a third-round pick with Tennessee in 2009. He was three years into a five-year, $35 million contract when the Rams released him.
