Onalaska man charged with homicide in fatal snowmobile crash

An Onalaska man is charged with vehicular homicide for his role in the death of a woman in a snowmobile crash in January.
29-year-old John Marshall of Onalaska faces two felonies-Homicide by Intoxicated Use of Vehicle, and Homicide by Use of Vehicle with PAC (Prohibited Alcohol Concentration). The charges were filed against him in La Crosse County Circuit Court Friday.
Late Saturday night on January 23, Marshall and 27-year-old Miranda Lee Roellich were on a snowmobile on the La Crosse County Bike Trail about three miles west of Lytle Road in Brice Prairie.
Roellich was taken to Gundersen Health System for head injuries. She died on February 6.
Marshall is scheduled for his next court appearance on April 1.
