The State Patrol has released the name of a motorcycle driver killed in a wreck in Wabasha County Saturday.
According to investigators, 62-year-old Randall Beers, of Onalaska, Wis., was killed in the accident at the intersection of Highways 61 and 42, south of Kellogg.
It happened at about 4:48 p.m. Saturday.
The State Patrol says Beers was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Highway 61, when it collided with a Pontiac passenger car on Highway 42 that was waiting to make a left turn onto 61.
Beers was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 37-year-old Wisconsin woman, was taken to a hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
The two people in the car, both from Wisconsin, were not hurt.
