The newly and expanded renovated La Crosse YMCA is ready for use. The project began in 2014, with a fundraising campaign for the La Crosse and Onalaska's YMCA facilities. The plan also included a new teen center.
Among the changes, the larger Wellness Center is now on the second floor, relocated from the basement.
There is also a new healthy living center in partnership with Gundersen Health Systems. You'll also find a new cycling studio with 36 new bicycles and a new group fitness studio.
"People are excited to be out of the basement, and to have the ceiling and to do more, and just figuring out what their routine is being in this new space," said Wellness Director, Heidi Kuennen.
