Copy-Police arrest suspect in double homicide in Hobart
HOBART, Wis. (AP) - Authorities in northeastern Wisconsin have arrested a suspect in the stabbing deaths of two women in Hobart.
Hobart/Lawrence Police Chief Randy Bani says the 26-year-old suspect from Ashwaubenon is believed to be an ex-boyfriend of one of the victims.
Police were called to a residence on a weapons complaint at about 8 p.m. Tuesday. Officers found the bodies of a 63-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman, who's believed to be the suspect's ex-girlfriend, when they arrived at the scene. A man who was stabbed in the chest and arms was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
The suspect was found hiding in woods behind the home. He was arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail.
