MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Wisconsin GOP congressional leaders joined with Democrats on Monday and blasted Russian President Vladimir Putin after he said that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, a claim that President Donald Trump did not dispute while standing next to Putin at a news conference in Helsinki. House Speaker Paul Ryan, of Janesville, said there was "no question" that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Wisconsin Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson says he's concerned with the Trump Administration's "widespread tariffs" and wants the White House to known "there's some real damage being done" to companies right now. Johnson made the remarks Monday after meeting with executives of Wisconsin companies to hear how the U.S.'s trade war with China and other countries is already impacting them. Johnson is passing along the businesses' concerns to President Donald Trump and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Wisconsin on Monday called his parents' decision to support his Democratic opponent "an intentional personal blow" and a "true representation" of political intolerance. Kevin Nicholson wrote about his parents' support for Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin in an op-ed for Fox News published on Monday. Nicholson describes his own transition from being raised in a Democratic family to becoming a Republican after serving as head of the College Democrats in 2000.

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee County sheriff's deputies say a driver whose vehicle rolled over on the freeway may not have died of injuries sustained in the crash. Deputies found the man bleeding profusely from the head after his vehicle hit the median wall on Interstate 41 Monday morning and flipped. Hospital staff later found the man had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.l
