Griffin Conine hit a 2-run home run, and Mason McCoy scored three runs as the La Crosse Loggers completed the sweep of the Willmar Stingers with a 7-6 win Friday.

La Crosse jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a wild pitch and error by pitcher Pearson McMahan. The Loggers added three more in the third inning, highlighted by Conine's ninth homer of the season.
Willmar answered with two runs in the bottom of the third before Lars Nootbaar doubled in McCoy in the fifth and Cesar Salazar singled in Conine to give La Crosse a 7-2 lead.
But the Stingers responded with three runs in the sixth and another in the seventh to cut the lead to 7-6. Chad Dullnig and Dave Smith combined to work the final 2.1 innings at Bill Taunton Stadium. Smith induced a game-ending double play with a runner on first to end the game.
