Persistent rains delayed American Legion postseason play across the Coulee Region Saturday.
The Class AA regional in Onalaska was postponed to Sunday. Sparta will face Onalaska in an elimination game at 12 p.m., with the winner facing Wisconsin Dells in the championship game afterward. Wisconsin Dells needs one win to claim the title, while Sparta or Onalaska would have to beat the Dells twice.
The Class A regional in West Salem was also postponed. Mauston will face C-FC in an elimination game at 1 p.m., with the winner facing West Salem afterward. West Salem needs one win to qualify for state, while Mauston or C-FC would have to beat West Salem twice.
The Class A regional in North Crawford will shift to Prairie du Chien for Sunday. North Crawford will face PdC at 1 p.m. at Prairie du Chien High School, with the winner facing Viroqua in the championship game afterward. Viroqua needs one win to clinch the title. PdC has already qualified for state by hosting the event next week.
In Minnesota, the Division II District One tournament has been postponed to Sunday. La Crescent will face Stewartville at 3:30 p.m. in New Richland in an elimination game. La Crescent needs to win four games to advance to state.
