More than 20 families are pushed from their homes following recent floods in Winneshiek County.
But, the American Red Cross is in Decorah to help.
The American Red Cross is set up at the Dubuque Public Library and community center in Fort Atkinson to provide help to anyone affected by recent flooding.
County officials are busy assessing damage to get people the best resources to get back on their feet.
Flood kits, blankets and water is available.
Red Cross officials say there has been an outpouring of support to people in need.
"It's always a partnership. We work all year long behind the scenes, and we have great community partners, and that's what we do. When disaster strikes, it's time for us to step up. We've got great partners in this community both public and private," American Red Cross Manager, Jolene Carpenter said.
If you're affected by recent flooding and have any questions where to throw away any household items you can contact the Winneshiek Recycling.
Clean-up kits and information are provided at the Decorah Library.
At this time, damage assessments are being done by state and local officials.
Officials remind people to document their damage with photos and receipts.
At this time, no financial assistance is being offered.
