Bronson Koenig spent part of his offseason in Los Angeles working to get quicker for his senior season.
As soon as he returned to Wisconsin, the results were clear.
"I had like five, six guys come up to me after the first practice just telling me how much quicker, stronger and just better I look," Koenig said.
The La Crosse native was named to the Bob Cousy Award watch list Monday as one of the top point guards in the nation. He and the Badgers have high expectations for the 2016-17 season, as all five starters from last season's Sweet 16 run.
Wisconsin opens the season October 30 against UW-Platteville.
