Yaeggi's injury forces change at QB for UW-L

Posted: Updated:

Tarek Yaeggi has officially been ruled out for Saturday's game against UW-Eau Claire.
It will be sophomore Ben Schramski getting the start instead.

the sophomore has played in three games this season, completing three of his five passes for 42 yards.
Yaeggi sprained his left shoulder against Whitewater last Saturday.
Schramski has taken the first team reps all week and believes the Eagles up-tempo offense won't miss a beat

"I do feel really confident in this group. I've played with, going back to my last school, I've played with some good competition. This is going to be a great game here, I'm excited. I think we're not going to lose any steps. Tarek's been phenomenal all year. I don't think it's really going to change this weekend, not because of me, but because of the guys around me," Schramski said.

Schramski started six games at Concordia-St. Paul last season as a freshman before transferring to UW-La Crosse.
