O-line leads Caledonia's explosive offense

Posted: Updated:

If you're traveling through Caledonia and see a bunch of high school kids with blonde hair and mohawks, you know what time it is.
 Playoff time.

The Warriors are preparing to set foot in U.S. Bank Stadium for the first time Friday when they take on Barnesville in a Class 'A' semifinal game.
The Warriors have put up some eye popping numbers season.
Owen King has thrown for 2,340 yards and 39 touchdowns this season.
Ben Mc Cabe has run for 1,471 yards and 20 TD's.
But Caledonia's success starts with the big guys up front.

"They're everything.  We don't get a single yard without them.  They just open everything up.  They give Owen time.  They're just the whole team, really," McCabe said.
"It helps a lot like last game when he was hitting those big runs.  When they start creeping up defensively then we can start going to the passing game, which is a huge thing when you can do both," said King.

Caledonia will play Barnesville at 11:30 AM Friday.

The winner plays in the Prep Bowl for the state title the following week, also at U.S. Bank Stadium
