V-Hawks dominate in opening round at NAIA Tourney

The Viterbo V-Hawks volleyball team extended hit's winning streak to 37 straight matches with a 3-0 win over The College of the Ozarks Tuesday.

It was the opening round of Pool Play at the NAIA National Championships in Sioux City, Iowa.

The V-Hawks won the match by the scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-15.

Natalie Geidel led the way with 17 kills followed by Aubrey Aspen's 11.

Amelia Grahn added 42 assists for the V-Hawks.

Viterbo is now 40-2 overall and will play Carroll (Mont.) Wednesday afternoon in the second of three matches in pool play before the elimination round.
