The Logan Rangers headed north Friday looking to bounce back from a tough Eau Claire Memorial team in week one.
This time, against another Eau Claire team, the North Huskies, the results were different. Logan wins 20-7.
Logan took an early lead when Matthew Escher connected with CJ Siegel, who took it 20 yard for their first score.
That 7-0 lead held up until the third quarter when Escher tried again to get it to Siegel, but the pass went in and out of his hands and into the hands of Enrique Gonzales for the Huskies, who then made it a pick-six. North tied it up with the extra point.
The Escher-Siegel combo worked in the next drive, where at mid-field, they connected on what would be a 50-yard TD catch to give the Rangers the lead for good.
Logan is now 1-1 on the season.
