Motorists will encounter short term traffic delays for eight days beginning on Monday in the northbound lane of Highway 26 just north of Brownsville.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, crews will be working to repair a concrete bridge deck located just north of Houston County Road 7, about five miles north of Brownsville.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane across the bridge and controlled by a portable traffic signal system. Stop and go traffic is possible and motorists may see short delays crossing the bridge.
Work is scheduled to begin Monday, September 11 at 9 a.m. and continue through Tuesday, September 19 at 4 p.m.
